A playful first taste of partner dancing. Little dancers learn to keep a beat, take turns, bow, and hold hands with a partner through simple steps set to fun music. It's where manners and confidence start.

Real ballroom technique for kids who love rhythm and dancing with others. Students learn the waltz, cha-cha, swing, and more, along with proper frame, footwork, and how to lead and follow. It's a skill they'll use for life, from school dances to family weddings.

Standard and Latin ballroom for teens, with a focus on technique, musicality, choreography, and partnering. What to wear to ballroom class

Fitted, comfortable dancewear lets kids move freely and lets teachers see their frame and footwork. For a trial class, comfortable fitted clothes are fine.

Ballroom tuition

Tuition is based on how many hours your dancer takes each week, and it covers every class in that time.

  • $15 trial class before you commit
  • 5% off tuition for every sibling after the first
  • August and May are half tuition

Ballroom class FAQs

What age can kids start ballroom dance?

Kids can start ballroom at age 4. Teddy Bear Ballroom is for ages 4–6 on Wednesdays, Kids Ballroom is for ages 7–13 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Youth Ballroom is for teens ages 14–18 on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Does my child need a partner?

No. Kids don't need to bring a partner. They learn and dance with classmates during class.

Does my child need dance experience?

No. Most kids start ballroom with no experience. A $15 trial class helps us place them in the right class.

Which ballroom dances will my child learn?

Kids learn dances like the waltz, cha-cha, and swing, along with frame, footwork, timing, and how to lead and follow.

What should my child wear?

Girls wear fitted, comfortable dancewear such as leggings, a dance skirt, and a fitted top. Boys wear black slacks or nice comfortable pants with a fitted shirt. Everyone wears ballroom shoes or practice ballroom shoes. No sweatpants, jeans, or athletic shorts.

How often are kids ballroom classes?

Teddy Bear Ballroom (ages 4–6) meets Wednesdays from 4:00 to 4:45 PM. Kids Ballroom (ages 7–13) meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:45 to 5:30 PM. Youth Ballroom (ages 14–18) meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 4:45 PM.

Do you have ballroom classes for teens?

Yes. Youth Ballroom is a beginner to intermediate class for ages 14–18 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 4:45 PM. It covers standard and Latin styles and is great preparation for high school and college ballroom team auditions.

How does my child join the competition team?

The Competition Team is by audition. Most team dancers start in a weekly ballroom class, so book a trial and ask us about the next audition.

Can parents watch class?

Yes. Parents are welcome to watch classes.
